Angels Come In The Faces of Man Częstochowa Sept 2007

Angels come to us when we least expect it.

I spent 3 months in Poland, on a day trip on my own to Częstochowa, this stranger went out of his way to help me.
If Angels exist, I am sure he could have been one!

In 2007, whilst queuing to alight from the train at Czestochowa, I wasn't quite sure that I was at the right stop as the train announcements were all in Polish.

Standing behind me was this elderly gentleman, lo and behold he spoke perfect English when I checked if I was at right station.

Long story short, this kind man went out of his way to send me in a taxi to the church Jasna Gora to visit and make my pilgrimage to see the Black Madonna of Częstochowa.

I never got his name or his number, but this Angel of mine not only diverted from his original destination to the church, he alighted with me carrying his heavy luggage up the hill to the church, checked the mass schedule for me and placed me in the right hall where the mass would be held then left.

I will never forget his kindness and his unconditional love for a stranger like me. It was like it was Jesus himself, showing me the way and guiding me without any difficulty to experience his love for me and celebrate his greater love for pilgrims at the shrine of Our Lady of Częstochowa.

This experience will remain, always a highlight of my life. The mundane has become a spiritual experience for me.

Let's participate in God's kingdom building by striving to be God's angels to our fellow man \o/\o/\o/

God hears us even when we ask for nonsensical things!

I remember in 2000, I was asked to join the Robinson's group bowling competition. My bowling skills were at best average with scores hovering between 90s to120s. On the day at the event when we started practicing a few minutes before the competition, I was suddenly completely out of form. To my aghast, I was throwing gutter balls! I was so embarrassed that I would pull our whole team down and lose miserably because of my poor game. When I was in toilet before the game started, I prayed and almost begged Jesus, not to let me make a fool of myself and to help me play well. Pictures above tells a thousand words. Believe it or not, I played like a professional. A miracle! I Scored 270 - 280 points, striking and sparing at almost every turn! I won the ladies Champion Trophy that night. Needless to say, however much I was persuaded by my team mates, I never did dare to join the team again the following year :) Moral of the story, God hears us when we speak to him from de...
A SYMPHONY OF RAINBOWS by Grace Genevieve Low (Singapore, Dec 2004) “Jesus is still looking for those who are willing to have a testimony created through their lives. One of the major characteristics of a God-ordained testimony is for something to happen that cannot be explained in the natural. In other words, if you can make it happen through your abilities, it is not a testimony about God, but about you”. For the longest time, I have been dragging my feet to write about my mountain trip in August 2003. This was an experience I still recall with shining eyes when I think about it. Even to this day, it continues to cradle my soul – that I thought no amount of written words could fully convey or describe this unfathomable marvel of God. I would have been contented that it remains this way if not for my friends in Christ, who urged me repeatedly to put it all down in writing. So here it is today, my testimony to all of you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I had a rude shock when I arrived for...
My Testimony - the day i asked God to show himself and he did! I am writing this testimony, to share my experience with friends, who might be thinking and feeling that God is not listeningto them. I assure you, I am a small unworthy person...if God listens to me....I am pretty sure that he would be listening to you too. The testimony I have written below may be a little too detailed for you. It’s a page from my diary and I wanted to remember every insignificant detail that I saw or experienced that day. When God spoke to me... Second day at ICPE (International Catholic Programme For Evangelization)- Germany. It all began on 11th Sept 2001, after the morning lessons, we had lunch and after lunch I took a walk on my own. It was a nice day, I decided to make my way to the chapel(Allerheiligen Kapelle) that was a little way up on the hill. I remember I had wanted to know what the pictures of Mary and Jesus were made of. It didn't look like a painting when I saw it the day b...
